摘要: More experimental evidence is needed to understand the role of propagules in macroalgal biology. There are no reports literature on comparative physiology (e.g. photosynthesis) sporelings and adults. In this paper we report the␣variation␣in␣photosynthetic parameters (maximum photosynthesis, P max , efficiency, alpha, dark respiration (R d ) cultivated young red alga␣Grateloupia␣doryphora (Montagne) Howe under normal conditions after a short-term incubation at different salinities temperatures. The results compared those␣for␣adult Stage III thalli obtained laboratory culture from same population sporelings. pigment composition (more chlorophyll less phycoerthryn phycocyanin than adults) promotes better photosynthetic performance (higher alpha lower R excitation. younger were also more tolerant variations salinity temperature III, which highest variation maximum photosynthesis was observed.
