Radioisotopes of iodine are produced in abundance n nuclear fission reactions, and great amounts radioiodine may be released into the environment case reactor accident. Thyroid gland is among most radiosensitive organs due to its cap acity concentrate iodine. In Chernobyl accid ent, population exposed has deficiency would enhance avidity thyroid for Th internal contamination could result development cancer thyroid, then very important evaluate biodistribution at cellular level. general, retrospective dosimetry involving accidental contaminati on not an easy task because lack informati about conditions exposure. The aim this work was importance heterogeneous distribution internally deposited iodines absorbed thyroid’s follicle, using C arlo method.
