Epidemiology of dermatophytoses observed in Rome, Italy, between 1985 and 1993

摘要: Summary. Between 1985 and 1993, 13 880 patients were studied for possible forms of dermatophytoses. The most frequently isolated dermatophyte was in 2821 positive cases Microsporum canis (50%), followed by Trichophyton rubrum (27%), mentagrophytes (10.6%), Epidermophyton floccosum (9.3%), gypseum (2.3%), violaceum (0.6%), tonsurans (0.2%) verrucosum (<0.1%). genera species also considered relation to the site lesion. Our epidemiological data compared with those obtained other authors cities Rome previous studies conducted between 1972–77 1978–83. Results various investigators Europe are discussed.
