摘要: A series of 7-hydroxy-4-oxo-4H-chromene- (3a-h) and 7-hydroxychroman-2-carboxylic acidN-alkyl amides (4a-g) were synthesized their antioxidant activities evaluated. While compounds3a-h less active, compounds4a-g exhibited more potent inhibition lipid peroxidation initiated by Fe2+ ascorbic acid in rat brain homogenates. Among them, acidN-alkylamides (4e-g) bearing nonyl, decyl, undecyl side chain 3 times than trolox (1).
