摘要: Two compounds represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or a 2-hydroxyethyl radical are reported to have minimum penetration into brain and nerve tissues combined with maximum hypoxic tumor cells. This combination of properties makes these optimal radiosensitizers among electron-affinic 1-substituted 2-nitroinidazoles.
