摘要: Total ovarian blood flow of cows (sum flows through the artery and uterine branch artery), measured by electromagnetic probes, followed a consistent cyclic pattern, being highest from Day 10 oestrous cycle (oestrus = 0) until 4 days before subsequent oestrus. During this period high flow, origin flowed to ovary was found comprise 20-40% flow. Between Days -4 -3, dropped (P less than 0.01) 3.2 +/- 0.5 1.0 0.4 ml/min, coincident with reversal anastomosis. Uterine arterial 0.05) 1 day oestrus when compared remaining cycle. Throughout cycle, positively correlated systemic concentrations progesterone (r 0.55, P negatively oestradiol-17 beta -0.42, 0.01). In contrast, -0.25, oestradiol 0.45, 0.05). These data provide direct evidence in cow that portion flowing containing fully functional corpus luteum is contributed ipsilateral artery.
