摘要: This paper reveals the way in which musical pitch works as a peculiar form of cognition that reflects upon organization surrounding world perceived by majority music users within socio-cultural formation. Part-1 this described origin tonal from verbal speech, its progress indefinite to definite pitch, and emergence two main harmonic orders: heptatonic pentatonic, each characterized own method handling tension at both domains, social organization. Part-2, here, completes line historic development Antiquity seventeenth century. Vast archeological data is used identify perception structures tells apart temple/palace urban civilizations folk village cultures.
