摘要: Background and Purpose— Circulating blood cells have been implicated in the pathogenesis of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury stroke. The objective this study was to define magnitude molecular determinants platelet- leukocyte–endothelial cell adhesive interactions induced by I/R mouse brain. Methods— Bilateral common carotid artery occlusion for 1 hour C57BL/6 mice, followed either 40 minutes or 4 hours reperfusion. Fluorescent platelets were administered intravenously, frontal brain surface observed with intravital fluorescence microscopy. Leukocyte–endothelial adhesion monitored use rhodamine-6G.
