摘要: The mechanical properties of the lung periphery are vital to overall function whole organ, and play a key role in symptomatology many diseases. We first review experimental methodologies that have been used investigate peripheral mechanics, including retrograde catheter, alveolar capsule, capsule oscillator, forced oscillation technique. then discuss interpretation data provided by these techniques terms inverse mathematical models lung, constant-phase model. Finally, we describe efforts construct anatomically accurate forward based on from imaging modalities such as computed tomography magnetic resonance imaging. Together, various approaches great deal information about relative importance animal disease human patients. An increasing body evidence indicates constriction this part is crucial determinant severity asthma.
