摘要: Abstract Objective. The purpose of this study was to investigate the histologic alterations in upper airway patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. Study design. Surgical specimens were obtained during non-laser-assisted uvulopalatopharyngoplasty from 5 adult (4 male and 1 female) polysomnographically confirmed Results. In all specimens, interstitial edema present mild inflammatory reaction. Fat not at prominent. Conclusions. It is histologically that there uncertain whether one causative mechanisms obstruction or a consequence
