摘要: Summary We have evaluated 3 patients with various bone marrow dyscrasias treated horse antithymocyte globulin (ATG) (Upjohn) to determine the relationship of haematopoietic response occurrence serum sickness. Patients received ATG intravenously over 10 or 28 d at a dose 15 mg/kg/d. Total partial haematological responses were noted in 12 33 patients. Twenty-eight developed clinical signs sickness 6–14 after first infusion ATG, while five did not. Twenty-five these by immunochemical assays for circulating immune complexes (Clq-binding assay) and 21 complement (C3, C4 CH50 levels. There was direct correlation between increases complex levels, decreases development symptoms Twenty-one who failed show improvement. However, recovery occurred all not manifest (P <0.05) four develop complexes. These findings indicate that is required may indeed impair recovery.
