摘要: Immunotherapy, consisting of lymphocyte depletion or plasmapheresis in combination with cyclophosphamide and prednisone, was employed three patients refractory pure red cell aplasia six aplastic anemia various etiologies. All responded to plasmapheresis. One patient atypical showed partial recovery following depletion; the other five no evidence a clinical response. The effect patients' sera bone marrow on formation myeloid erythroid colonies by from normal individuals determined vitro. A decline serum inhibition colony observed treatment. Any changes were less marked unrelated treatment outcome anemia, although single who exhibited reversal coculture inhibition. Our experience suggests that vitro assay methods may not adequately predict response this form immunotherapy, furthermore improvement too sporadic for be recommended. Plasmapheresis useful adjunct aplasia, but remissions dramatic sustained.
