摘要: The ice covered portions of the world’s seas and oceans are some most inaccessible areas on planet, yet hold crucial clues to behaviour climate. Largely by manned vessels, robotic platforms provide our best opportunities explore learn about these regions. Autosub2000 Under Ice (Autosub2KUI) will become newest iteration Autosub family Autonomous Underwater Vehicles which have played a significant role in under exploration over last two decades. AUVs conducted 30 missions sea tidewater glaciers both Arctic Antarctic. This paper outlines design Autosub2KUI with focus adaptations required for operation ice.
