摘要: Abstract The effects of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and its receptor subtype agonists on spontaneous propulsive activities the segment, changes in tension muscle strips were examined guinea-pig isolated distal colon. 5-HT, 5-carboxamidotryptamine (5-CT), α-methyl-5-HT t-methoxytryptamine (5-MeOH), applied to serosal side inhibited activities, but 2-methyl-5-HT did not. On indomethacin-treated 5-HT all stimulated activity. 5-CT, 5-MeOH relaxed circular strips, which presence tetrodotoxin. However, these showed contractile strips. These results suggest that may inhibit colonic segment via release endogenous PGs (e.g., E I types) cells mediated by an inhibitory neurotransmitter, was 1 -like 2 ; 4 receptors myenteric neurones layer.
