摘要: Abstract Evidence has been obtained which suggests that the main locomotory mechanism in fibrocytes, when moving on a solid substrate, is due to undulations of cell membrane region adjacent substrate. The ruffles are most pronounced leading edge and travel backwards towards nucleus. evidence for this rests partly measurements with interference microscope surface contact enables contacts between substrate be examined directly. It suggested could produced by contractile fibrils lying just within cytoplasm parallel surface. These contractions occur largely at random unless become orientated tension or cytoplasmic flow, so polarization direction movement cell.
