摘要: The effectiveness of using an absorbable suture material for continuous closure abdominal wounds, especially contaminated has not yet been determined. Thus, the present study was conducted to investigate wound complications that developed following clean and wounds polydioxanone (PDS), compared with those interrupted braided silk. Running PDS performed in 152 patients (PDS group), while 280 who underwent silk served as controls (SILK group). occurrence rates dehiscence, early infection, incisional hernia did differ significantly between two groups; however, incidence late sinus formation group (1.3%) lower than SILK (7.1%). Moreover, suturing healed within 1 week after percutaneous drainage alone without removal strings, whereas took average 16 days heal required infected strings all 20 patients. These findings indicate potential usefulness a achieve running or wounds.
