摘要: The electric dipole polarizability of the lithium atom in ground state is calculated including relativistic and quantum electrodynamics corrections. obtained result ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{E}=164.0740(5)$ a.u. good agreement with less accurate experimental value $164.19(1.08)$ small uncertainty about 3 parts per ${10}^{6}$ comes from approximate treatment Our theoretical can be considered as a benchmark for more general atomic structure methods may serve reference relative measurement polarizabilities other alkali-metal atoms.
