摘要: This special issue addresses the affective and cognitive processes their interactions potentially reflecting mechanisms underlying development, maintenance of, or recovery from behavioral addictions. Various specific types of addictions will be considered, including those already in ICD-11 (gambling disorder, gaming disorder), but also new phenomena that are not yet classified (e.g., buying-shopping social-network-disorder) belonging to although they currently elsewhere compulsive sexual behavior disorder). The articles included this directly investigate cue-reactivity, craving, mood, stress, social interactions) and/or executive functions, attention, memory). studies involve experimental paradigms, neuropsychological tasks, psychophysiological measures, neuroimaging techniques. Specific deal with relationship between processes. is complemented by covering current debates reviewing empirical findings field.
