摘要: In the present study, an effort has been made to investigate analytical hierarchy process applied delineate groundwater potential based on integrated geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing (RS) techniques in Ponnaiyar River basin, Tamil Nadu, India. At first, climatic factor, topographic factors, water related geological hydrogeological factors other ecological such as land use/land cover soil depth were derived from spatial geo-database. Secondly, 74 data with high yield values of ≥40 m3/h collected mapped GIS. Out these, 44 (60 %) cases randomly selected for models training, remaining 31 (40 %) used validation purposes. Then, assigned weights thematic layers expert knowledge normalized by eigenvector technique AHP. To prepare index, weighted linear combination (WLC) method was Finally, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve drawn map, area under (AUC) computed. Results indicated that rainfall slope percent have taken highest lowest weights, respectively. Validation results showed AHP (AUC = 76.90 %) performed fairly good predication accuracy. this study could be helpful better management resources give planners decision makers opportunity appropriate investment plans sustainable environment.
