摘要: Vaginal and vulvar tumors are uncommon in dogs. Knowledge of canine primary clitoral neoplasia is restricted to a few case reports, only carcinomas have been reported. Cytologic histologic features reported the literature seem overlap with those apocrine gland anal sac adenocarcinoma (AGASA). Clinical also recall AGASA, such as locoregional metastases hypercalcemia malignancy (HM). In this study, 6 cases (CCCs), without HM, were investigated by means cytology, histopathology, electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry for neuroendocrine markers including chromogranin A (CGA), synaptophysin (SYN), neuron-specific enolase (NSE), S-100. all tumors, cytologic findings consistent malignant epithelial origin. The examined classified into 3 different histological patterns representing degrees differentiation: tubular, solid, rosette type. Both CGA SYN mildly expressed 2 while NSE was consistently cases. None S-100 positive. Transmission microscopy revealed electron-dense cytoplasmic granules compatible CCCs presented clinicopathologic resembling AGASAs characteristics, neoplasms considered differentiation positive markers. can often present long-term outcome likely poor. Our study concludes that CCC seems be rare tumor, but it might underestimated because overlapping AGASA. Further studies should aim define true incidence disease.
