摘要: Differential thermal analysis has been used to study the solid-liquid transitions of four polyethylenes, an isotactic polypropylene, a series ethylene-propylene copolymers, and physical mixture polyethylene polypropylene. The thermograms obtained directly yield transition temperatures. By calibration, heats entropies fusion were also derived from thermograms. From fusion, degree crystallinity these polymers calculated. can detect that melt sufficiently wide apart. thermogram-peak areas are proportional amounts material present. Convenience speed make differential useful tool for characterizing polymeric materials when uniform conditions maintained.
