摘要: Aim: Formula diet (FD), which is used as a tool for calorie restriction, has beneficial effects on metabolic disorders in obese patients; however, the molecular mechanism not fully understood. Methods: Sixteen-week-old male Zucker Diabetic Fatty (ZDF) rats were divided into 3 groups (n= 10 each): calorie-controlled low-fat [Control; 75 kcal/day, protein : fat carbohydrate (P:F:C)=25:15: 60], calorie-restricted (CR-LFD; 56 P:F:C=25:15:60), and FD (CR-FD; P:F:C=50:14:36) group, fed each 4 weeks. Before study, baseline data obtained rats. After weeks, body weight epididymal measured, blood samples, mesenteric subcutaneous adipose tissues collected analyses. Messenger RNA expression was evaluated by real-time PCR, Western blotting. Results: The decrease significantly greater CR-FD group than control CR-LFD groups, although changes different among groups. fasting plasma glucose increase adiponectin but group. triglyceride HDL-cholesterol greatest Both mRNA of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator (PGC)-1α, adiponectin, lipoprotein lipase PPARγ overexpressed especially tissue. Conclusions: may have abdominal obesity reducing visceral improving lipid profiles, possibly through modulating tissue function.Key words; diet, High Low Obesity, diabetic fatty rat
