摘要: Background— The ultrarapid outward current IKur is a major repolarizing in human atrium and potential target for treating atrial arrhythmias. effects of selective block by low concentrations 4-aminopyridine or the biphenyl derivative AVE 0118 were investigated on right action potentials (APs) trabeculae from patients sinus rhythm (SR) chronic fibrillation (AF). Methods Results— AP duration at 90% repolarization (APD90) was shorter AF than SR (300±16 ms, n=6, versus 414±10 n=15), whereas APD20 longer (35±9 ms 5±2 SR, P<0.05). 4-Aminopyridine (5 μmol/L) elevated plateau to more positive −21±3 −6±3 mV 0±3 +12±3 AF. reversibly shortened APD90 350±10 but prolonged 300±16 320±13 Similar results obtained with (6 μmol/L).
