摘要: A long-term investigation of D. suzukii dynamics in wild blueberry fields from 2012–2018 demonstrates relative abundance is either still increasing or exhibiting periodicity seven years after the initial invasion. Relative determined by physiological date first detection and air temperatures previous winter. Date flies does not determine fruit infestation. The level infestation year, fly pressure, insecticide application frequency. Frequency production system. Non-crop predation influences pressure; increased results pressure. Increased rate reduces but only at high flies, when levels are present along field edges. Male sex ratio might be declining over years. Action thresholds were developed samples 92 2012–2017 that related cumulative adult male trap capture to following week likelihood two-parameter gamma density function describing this probability was used develop a risk-based gradient action threshold validated 2016–2018 35 shown work well two three (2016 2017).
