摘要: Introduction. Drosophila suzukii Matsumura (Spotted Wing Drosophila, SWD) is a pest that has been in- dicated as major threat to European and Mediterranean fruit production. Its finding in Southern Italy offers interesting data elaborate an efficient sustainable control strategy. Materials methods. The fly was collected during the "overhead" survey of IAMB organic table grape vineyard by apple vinegar/wine/brown sugar bottle traps placed around field. Once presence this confirmed, were also hung on different host plants sur- rounding vineyard, namely fig (Ficus carica L.), jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill.), pomegranate (Punica granatum wild bramble (Rubus fruticosus L.) rough bindweed (Smilax aspera L.). Collected adults identi- fied via morphological parameters comparison with published descriptions drawings. SWD adult population monitored per month throughout year related average values temperature ( ◦ C) minimum relative humidity (mRH%). carried out from September 2012 August 2013. Results discussion. We report Italy, Apulia Region, its dynamics area. This behaviour quite other indigenous drosophilas, both non-pest. Conclusion. has, at present, prominent status may represent key soft orchards South-Eastern part and, namely, Apulia. However, further investigation marked decrease needed support effective con- trol strategies, which include baited-lure mass trapping warm climate areas. Such strategies should take into consideration reservoirs such secondary semi-wild bred areas tested.
