摘要: Abstract In the present research, potential use of flexible disposable devices, specifically blood bags, for fractionation biological products using Aqueous Two-Phase Systems (ATPS) polymer–salt is studied and demonstrated. Purified human serum albumin (HSA) was used as model protein. Experiments were carried out on ATPS polyethylene glycol (PEG)–potassium phosphate constructed rigid recipients (conical tubes) devices (blood bags). The device construction had no significant effect HSA partition behavior. Protein towards top phase favored systems PEG 1000 g/mol TLL 45% (w/w), achieving up to 85% recovery. On other hand a recovery 92% achieved at bottom when 3350 g/mol 25% (w/w) used. Human complex sample experiments. Selective proteins achieved. bags required short equilibrium times (
