摘要: Wave Bioreactors are relatively new to the field of protein production from insect cells infected with recombinant baculoviruses. Various sizes available support expression needs small large scale. They offer many advantages over stirred tank and airlift reactors, including simple operation, ease setup clean-up, minimal utility requirements. The design consists a platform rocker onto which presterilized assembled bags placed. Once inflated, filled medium cells. Filtered air flow maintains volumetric shape bag provides head space for gas exchange. A "wave" motion is created by rocking angle settings platform. Monitoring can be as or detailed user requires. Excellent cell growth proteins classes achieved these units.
