摘要: Mycoplasma gallisepticum causes respiratory disease in avian species, but little is known about its mechanism(s) of pathogenesis. These studies were undertaken order to develop genetic systems for analysis potential virulence factors. M. was transformed with plasmids containing one the gram-positive transposons Tn916 or Tn4001, which inserted randomly into mycoplasmal chromosome. Plasmids cloned chromosomal DNA also constructed and tested integration regions homology derived either from fragments gentamicin resistance marker Tn4001. demonstrate that amenable transformation both integrative vectors.
