摘要: Abstract Houseflies, Musca domestica , L., were treated with the drugs phenobarbital and 3-methylcholanthrene to study effects of these compounds as inducing agents microsomal oxidases, heptachlor epoxidase, p -nitroanisole O -demethylase, DDT-dehydrochlorinase. Phenobarbital was active when applied by injection or part diet but inactive topically applied. The resulting increases in epoxidase activity much 25-fold that untreated controls. net increase enzyme after treatment greater an insecticide-susceptible strain, WHO-SRS than a carbamate-resistant strain. However, induced DDT-dehydrochlorinase greater, about 2-fold, resistant strains susceptible optimum dose for 1% period 3 days. None treatments 3-MC, feeding, injection, exposure residues, topical, effective induction.
