摘要: Groups of 45 male and female inbred Wistar rats were given diets containing stevioside (85% pure) at 0, 0.2, 0.6 or 1.2% for 2 yr. After 6, 12 24 months, five from each group killed haematological clinical biochemical tests. Growth, food utilization consumption, general appearance mortality similar in treated control groups. The mean lifespan was not significantly different that the controls. No treatment-related changes observed haematological, urinary values any stage study. incidence severity non-neoplastic neoplastic unrelated to level diet. maximum no-observed-effect 1.2%, an acceptable daily intake humans 7.938 mg/kg body weight/day is suggested.
