A Novel SVPWM for Three-Level NPC Inverter Based on m-Mode Controllability

摘要: A novel space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) strategy for three-phase four-wire neutral-point-clamped (NPC) inverter is proposed in this paper. The m -mode controllability of a NPC inverter, which modeled as switched linear system, investigated. Then, on the basis analysis controllability, taking three-level property and continuity switching sequence into account, controllable sets with can be new solution inverter. With less operating modes, strategies named 18-mode SVPWM strategy, including SVPWM(I), SVPWM(II), SVPWM(III), are put forward. Compared conventional frequencies SVPWMs significantly reduced by one-third. Therefore, overall losses system performance improved. Finally, simulation experiment results verify correctness approach.
