摘要: Abstract The sestertepene (−)-wistarin has been isolated from a Red Sea sponge of the genus Ircinia . This metabolite is enantiomer (+)-wistarin, tetracyclic previously wistarii enantiomeric relationship was proved by comparison CD spectrum with that synthetic sample (+)-isomer. A hypothetical biosynthesis discussed starting putative linear precursor.
