摘要: Conventional drugs treat diabetes by improving insulin sensitivity, increasing production and/or decreasing the amount of glucose in blood. Several herbal preparations are used to diabetes, but their reported hypoglycemic effects complex or even paradoxical some cases. This article reviews recent findings about most popular herbs, such as ginseng, bitter melon and Coptis chinensis. commercially available also discussed, including ADHF (anti-diabetes formulation), Jiangtangkeli, YGD (Yerbe Mate-Guarana-Damiana) BN (Byakko-ka-ninjin-to). The efficacy herbs is achieved secretion, enhancing uptake adipose muscle tissues, inhibiting absorption from intestine heptocytes.
