摘要: Abstract Titanium dioxide (anatase, TiO 2 ) nanoparticles have been successfully deposited onto multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) via hydrolysis of titanium isopropoxide in supercritical ethanol. The as-prepared composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and photoelectron spectroscopy. It was demonstrated that the MWCNTs decorated with well-dispersed anatase less than 7 nm diameter. size loading content on could be tuned manipulating ratio precursor to MWCNTs, formation mechanism also discussed. absorbance spectrum resultant /MWCNT extended whole UV–visible region due decoration MWCNTs. used as photocatalyst for phenol degradation under irradiation visible light, which showed higher efficiency compared a mixture
