摘要: The present paper investigates the structure and composition of grafted sodium hyaluronan at a solid-liquid interface using neutron reflection. solvated polymer surface could be described with density profile that decays exponentially towards bulk solution. varied depending on deposition protocol. A single-stage resulted in denser layers, while layers created two-stage process were more diffuse had an overall lower density. Despite profile, leads to higher excess. Addition calcium ions causes strong collapse chains, increasing near surface. This effect is pronounced sample prepared by due initial less dense profile. study provides understanding molecular level how functionalization alters respond changes solvent.
