摘要: Cut flowers of the orchid Oncidium Gower Ramsey are valuable agricultural produce around world because their yellow color contributed by carotenoids in adaxial and abaxial epidermal layers petals labellum. Here, we investigated regulation carotenogenic genes response to different light qualities flowers. Total chlorophyll content was high young flower buds reduced during development, but carotenoid increased development. We detected 11 key biosynthesis determined expression profiles with treatment. Real-time PCR revealed mRNA levels most genes, except OncCHYB OncSDR, vegetative tissues; only OncLCYe showed low White upregulated OncPSY, OncLCYb, OncNCED downregulated OncPDS, OncZDS, OncCrtISO, OncLCYe, OncCHYB, OncZEP, OncCCD1, OncSDR; red OncCCD1; UV OncNCED. cloned promoter region phytoene synthase gene found it have potential cis-regulatory elements, such as TATA-box CAAT-box, addition multiple light-responsive elements G-box, I-box, GT-1 motif, GAG-motif, H-box. Our results light-regulated analysis suggest ways manipulate for high-quality cut-flower production.
