摘要: When the task is to categorize a target letter at known location, subjects shaw more interference from incongruent distractors that are relatively close (B. A. Eriksen & C. W. Eriksen, 1974) or share common motion with (Driver Baylis, 1989). In eight experiments, we examined whether static factors other than proximity can afreet amount of interference. and were in same color, interfered they did when different even latter closer target. Good continuation between also led These results suggest efficiency selection determined by several aspects relation targets addition their proximity, thus visual attention not directed on basis position information alone.
