摘要: Aim. Endovascular repair of complicated type B dissections has evolved as a promising alternative to open repair. Previous studies have indicated that continued false lumen flow is predictor aortic dilatation and risk rupture during follow-up. This multicenter study was conducted analyze the postoperative changes after endografting dissections. Methods. All patients treated with endovascular stent grafts for thoracic at 5 major Vascular Centers in Sweden were identified through local databases. Review charts all available pre- CT scans performed identify demographics, indications well aorta lumen. Results. A total 129 between 1994 December 2005 identified. Median radiological follow-up 14 months. Fourteen died perioperatively leaving 115 analysis. Seventy-four these had imaging sufficient quality morphological The vast majority acute or end-organ ischemia whereas most chronic asymptomatic aneurysms. In 80% patients, thrombosed along graft but it remained perfused distal fixation 50% patients. Only 5% presented enlargement grafted area when adequate proximal sealing achieved. distal, uncovered displayed expansion 16% Conclusions. dissection appears be stabilized by covering primary entry site both portion graft, however, remains continuous dilatation. Stent grafting seems treatment option reasonable morbidity mortality even though incidence severe complications still significant.
