摘要: Biomarkers are the bridge between basic and clinical research enable us to speed up pro cess of drug development. In process devel opment “cognitive enhancers” for treatment schizophrenia, usefulness biomarkers is increas ingly realized. this chapter, we will introduce concept discuss its application with regard drugs that developed purpose cognitive enhancement in schizophrenia. While focus sing on functional biomarkers, i.e., mag netic resonance imaging (fMRI) electrophysiology (EEG), it be clearly delineated what currently feasible, kind limitations still exist needs done future optimise available biomarkers. addition, those listed which thought qualify as defi cits schizophrenia or at least close one may call a valid biomarker
