摘要: Radiation therapy is used as a treatment for malignant brain tumors not only in adult cases but also children. Conventional radiotherapy effective certain kinds of tumor. However, irradiation small children especially those less than 5 years old, associated with marked side effects including sequelae such mental retardation, hormonal deficiency, and bone marrow suppression which may appear up to several after the treatment.
