摘要: A nonionic surfactant having cyclic 1,3-dioxane and/or 1,3-dioxolane functionality which is irreversibly splittable by lowering the pH of its aqueous solution useful in various processes requiring removal emulsified hydrophobic contaminants or other materials from an stream. After splitting into component ketone and polyol, components phase-separate can be removed stream routine means.
