摘要: A methacrylate monomer containing ciprofloxacin (CPF) was synthesized, followed by the free-radical co-polymerization of monomer, acrylamide and diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DADMAC). The resulting antimicrobial cationic tripolymers were characterized 1H-NMR, gel-permeation chromatography, thermogravimetric analysis differential scanning calorimetry. in vitro antibacterial activity as well polymers, investigated against E. coli. CPF pendant tripolymer exhibited excellent activities, thus permitting to be used intensifier, retention or filtration aid for various hygiene products, including those based on cellulose fibres.
