摘要: A series of novel water-soluble amphiphilic copolymers containing ciprofloxacin (CPF) and quaternary ammonium salts were prepared by the free-radical copolymerization methacrylate monomers with CPF, salt (QAS) butyl acrylate (BA). The characterized 1H-NMR, charge density UV measurements. antimicrobial activities copolymers, based on minimum inhibition concentration (MIC) against Escherichia coli (E. coli), varied hydrophobic BA content in copolymers. incorporation moiety further enhanced antibacterial reducing MIC to 4.0 ppm.
