摘要: Contamination of soil with petroleum hydrocarbons (PHCs) has become a serious problem in Upper Assam, India. For rehabilitation oil-contaminated sites, phytoremediation represents promising technology whereby plants are used to enhance biodegradation processes soil. The aim this experiment was evaluate the efficiency native species Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers. that could be effective hydrocarbon-contaminated Experiments were conducted net house determine tolerance crude samples application two fertilizer levels. Plants monitored for 180 days analyze reduction hydrocarbon concentration if any In presence contaminants, plant biomass and height reduced up 33.8 % 21.9 respectively. As fertilization, lower level led higher production. root growth under effects C. found tolerate oil contamination 7.5 (w/w). estimation total grease tested revealed decrease 46.7 low (200N, 100P, 100K) 38.2 high (240N, 120P, 120K) comparison 11.5 10 control pots without plants. present investigation reveals can serve as low-cost alternative removal contaminants from
