摘要: In India large numbers of people are affected annually by river floods. This study discusses mobility population in the Ghaghara floodplain, where frequency floods is high and their magnitude increasing. While permanent settlement, related to growing pressure on land, began there present century only, density now exceeds 200 persons/sqkm.
