摘要: The cyanobacteria or blue-green algae (BGA) are the group of microorganisms having an oxygen-evolving photosynthetic system. Many genera aerobic nitrogen-fixers and some others also known to grow on molecular nitrogen in anaerobic symbiotic state. combination photosynthesis with oxygen-sensitive nitrogen-fixing system is rare among microbes. In addition, they have ability invade otherwise uninhabitable sections environment, namely, hot springs, icelands, volcanic soil, sewage wherein combined-nitrogen content either absent temperature extremes a variety natural artificial chemicals present. role binding soil particles add nitrogenous compounds soil. global combined both free-living forms (Azolla, Cycas, etc.) important today when we think protein demand developing countries tomorrow. Thus, study abundance ecosystems rice fields (where mostly tropical climates) important.
