摘要: Abstract Introduction Undergraduate University students are quite vulnerable to obesity and overweight due inadequate nutrition, lifestyle, leading young people conditions of potential cardiovascular risk. Therefore, the objective this study was assess prevalence central its associated factors in a sample Peruvian university students. Materials methods A cross-sectional survey conducted one Andes namely National Center Peru from May 2018 June 2019. total 250 undergraduate students, aged 18–24 years (141 males 109 females) were included by convenience sampling. The weight height each subject performed trained nurses, calibrated equipment, standardized techniques. Results Total samples 250, 54.6 (n = 141) males, 43.6% (n = 109) females average age ± standard deviation 20.66 ± 1.73. (49.65% vs. 16.51%) significantly 0.33-fold higher than (OR: 0.33, 95%CI: 0.19–0.59, p Conclusion We conclude that is female because women more concerned their physical appearance slim body men.
