摘要: The present study histologically examined the effects of glucan-containing and Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG)-containing diets on intestinal damages inflicted Nile tilapia by Aeromonas challenges. Tilapia were fed control, glucan, LGG for 2 weeks subsequently challenged with Aeromonas. intestines then at 1, 7, 14, 21 days post-infection. Mortality following challenge was lower fish glucan diets. these groups also showed increased inflammatory cell infiltration reduced damage from Moreover, occurred more rapidly in glucan-fed than LGG-fed challenge. Before challenge, dominant mucous acid type all tests. After main mucus proximal intestine shifted to AB-PAS double-staining cells, while fish, it remained throughout test period, number cells smaller control after Thus, different responses show that might have immunostimulative effects, although they both
