摘要: Heavy metal (Al, As, Ba, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Se and Zn) concentration in sixty-six groundwater samples of the West Bokaro coalfield were analyzed using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectroscopy for determination seasonal fluctuation, source apportionment heavy pollution index (HPI). Metal concentrations found higher pre-monsoon season as compared to post-monsoon season. Geographic information system (GIS) tool was attributed study metals risk coalfield. The results show that 94 % water low class 6 medium However, 79 class, 18 3 high HPI values below critical value 100. Al, Ni are exceeding desirable limits many both seasons.
