摘要: Summary The present trial tested the applicability of Jatropha curcas kernel meal (JKM) as a protein source in diets for Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) terms growth and body composition. Four were produced replacing 0% (Control), 50% (J50), 75% (J75) 100% (J100) fishmeal with JKM. In fifth diet, 70% was replaced by JKM, another 20% blood to minimize crystalline lysine addition. Body mass gain fish fed control diet significantly higher than all other treatments. However, specific rate (SGR) feed conversion ratio (FCR) not different between J50, J75 control. Fish had lower content, but fat energy content JKM-based diets. An adaptation J100 could also be observed, these showed worse FCR-values over most first three quarters experiment equal (or case J75, even better) final 2 weeks. Despite slightly slower growth, JKM should further included search alternative plant-feedstuffs tilapia, observed here up replacement very promising.
